Is the so called Launch model of a 2014 CS equipped similarly as a Cayman GTS at a better price of the same year?

To the best of my knowledge, it is just as it says. The dealers are given a car at launch date for that model (in this case the new 981 Cayman) to use as a demonstrator for potential buyers. They tended to be loaded with options. But, no it was never intended to be a CGTS. If the launch model had some similar options that were included on the GTS, that was just a coincidence.
