Side decals?
Can anyone tell me if this kit from Suncoast ( http://www.suncoastparts.com/mm5/mer...X&Store_Code=P ) will include the front bumper portion of the decal, as the one pictured here? (Obviously, I'd do the black lettering on my white P-car.)

Yeah, I was going to let a pro do it. I'd goof it up, no questions.
I think it will look cool. Something to break up the white.

Found this one, for significantly less. No telling how the quality will be compared to the one from Suncoast, but I figured it'd be worth saving $200 to find out if the cheaper one will suffice. http://carreradecals.com/collections...pe-vinyl-decal

You would save much more than $200! Suncoast lists the Cayman R side stripe for $949 plus shipping. Not sure of the quality of a stripe for $34.99 plus shipping.

Sorry. Missed the link in your first post. That is a different stripe from the Cayman R stripe. I don't know if that one has the piece for the front bumper. I would call first like logan suggested. Still surprising that someone can produce a Cayman R replica stripe for $34.99 - your second link. Personally I like the look of the Cayman R stripe on a Cayman vs. the straight stripe but I guess you could just leave off the stripe section to the rear of the door.

Funny, I like it better without it extending beyond the door. I feel like it looks cluttered underneath the gills. Either way, it'll be a nice addition, me thinks!

It's not clear that the stripe in your original post is a Porsche part. The Suncoast web site typically calls out explicitly when a part is from Porsche.

OEM or not, I'm content with not paying $900 for a decal set.

Bought the ones from carreradecals.com. Will report back when I've received and installed!

I got a set of $50 vinyl stripes off ebay.
I installed them myself in my (cluttered) garage. The adhesive wasn't so great on the decals, maybe they were old. So, wrapping around panel edges, as in Kyle's videos, didn't work so well.
I could have done a much better install job. On the first one I did, even after many bouts of measuring and re-taping, the right edge was about 5mm higher than the left. The driver's side has an incline to it that the passenger's doesn't. Ah, well, at least I didn't spend $1000 on them. :-)
