Default 2007 base cayman-upgrades?
I was curious. Are there any real upgrades for a base cayman to make it perform better in terms of handling or power?

you could get a tune to add 10 -20 HP, headers, cats and exhaust probably the same. Around $2000? A lot of money and effort for 40 or so HP.

There is a large selection of suspension options for the car. If you want more power sell the car and buy an S. If you haven't tracked the car do that before spending a dime modifying it.

The best upgrade I made was to trade my base 2007 Cayman for a 2007 Cayman S.

I just drove an 08 S and it was fantastic. Just trying to find a good one. Seems like prices are up over the last 1-2 years but thinking they may soften fall and winter...
