Default 2006 Cayman s valve adjust cost?

Hi,

I am looking at a used 2006 Cayman S. The only real known issue is that it probably needs to have the valves adjusted. I have an 87 Carrera and that is common every 15k miles but was wondering how expensive it is for the Cayman S and should it be a big concern?
I know about the biggest issues with these cars, IMS, oil starvation, etc.
Seems like no way to negate these issues completely, so seems like buying one used is a gamble.
Thank you.

Hydraulic lifters. IMS failure seems to be rare for the M97 vs earlier M96. Oil starvation only seems to be reported for cars used on track especially with slicks or R comps. Some race cars use accusump system.

Thanks, I thought valves should not need to be adjusted. I think it is something else.
