Thanks a lot for the info, I will proof that.

Sure will but it's going to be in spring. It's in storage for the winter...

Question Out of storage ;-)

The toy is out of storage, I tested the rear mag, there is about 3/32 clearance between the rim and the strut. No tires on the rims yet... What do you think, to close or that is enough clearance?

Thanks

guessing the tires will stick out further and rub.

that's pretty drastic, like 1 1/4". I'd start with something less, but first mount the tire, lay it flat on a bench, then pull it toward you till you can measure the distance to the rim lip, add 10 mm and get the nearest size spacer. One approach.

The measurement I gave you is with a 1 inch spacer. The problem is that I dont have a tire to mount, thus is why I am trying to figure it out before buying tires at near 500$ a piece...

I had a near identical issue with a set of Carrera S II wheels off of a 2009 Carrera S- 35mm spacers in the rear did the trick, but I had a little bit larger offset than you. Here's the thread

A 305 is a lot of tire to stuff into the rear of a Cayman. If you get the offset right or proper amount of spacers to keep from rubbing on the inside, I expect you'll need to roll the fender flanges outboard. I ran some Pirelli slicks that were 285 and had inside rubbing.

thanks for the info, not sure I want to get into rolling fenders, I might just buy wheels that were made to fit my car...
