A stock retrofit will be a pain, as you have to get ahold of a full wiring harness and a lot of parts. Someone was doing one a couple of years back and had to do it with stock parts to comply with SCCA or some such. There's a couple easier ways:
1) call TPC and get their DSS module and their retrofit wiring harness. Then swap in the shocks, wire in the DSS and run the harness to the 4 corners. I almost did this, had most of the parts assembled then ....
2) find a car with PASM and trade in. That's what I ended up doing. TPC took back my unused harness and control box for a new DSS that swaps in for the stock damptronic controller. Very nifty.
In my case I traded my base Cayman for a CS with PASM and LSD.

We have a stand alone package for converting non-PASM cars to a fully active suspension system. It will use our DSC Sport controller (as opposed to factory PASM) that features a much wider dynamic range and vastly quicker response time.
PM, email, or give us a call for more info.
You can also visit our website for more info: http://www.dscsport.com/product/dsc-...and-alone-kit/
Additionally, we can provide instructions for installing the factory dash panel with PASM button, so that you will have fully functioning mode selection that even interfaces with the dash display, displaying "Normal" or "Sport" indicating which mode you are in.
