Default Intermittent coolant level warning

So far my new to me 06 CS has been flawless and I am loving it. However, this morning, an issue arose.

I started the car this morning and was immediately hit with the check coolant warning with the flashing red temp light. I immediately checked for leaks on the ground an none were found. I let the car warm-up with a gentle drive to work. After about two minutes of driving the warning disappeared and the temp stayed at 175.

The ambient air temp this morning was about 38F. Not sure if that has anything to do with anything.

In a few weeks of ownership, the car has always stayed at 175 degrees and no other warnings have popped up.

I had a similar issue in my 996 but that was when the engine was warm and very hot outside. That was an engine fan issue.
