Default New to me Cayman r

Hi all

I just picked up a new to me Cayman R. I sold my 997 for this car and it's my 2nd Cayman after having an 08 a few years back

I think I got a great deal on what is a higher mile (48k) but CPO car. Here's a first pic;

Very nice. Partial to black as my '08 base is black.

Thanks for the kind words-

First ever black car, I've always been a red guy so we'll see how this goes!

I Absolutely love the handling , coming from a 997, it's som much better, the feel coming out of corners, the car just feels electric.

Congrats and mighty fine looking CR you have there.

Lived in Sudbury before leaving the low-cost-of-living and mild wintahs in Mass for the two seasons (oven and perfect) here in AZ.

And remember black is not a color, it's a hobby.

Congrats and enjoy every mile in the best of health!

I absolutely LOVE my R! What's not to love?

The bright wheels look really sharp with the black with silvery accent stripe!

Eddie

Your a smart man- it's about to be winter here and driving season will be over for a while.

I'm hoping to grab a day with a buddy who has an Elise and drive up north, hit the Kangamangus and back

Thanks - I've registered it, that is a great resource for this model.

Question for those who DYI-

Is the oil change any different for a DFI car compared to the .1 gen cars?

6 speed and sports seats - wish I had the sports buckets!
It's a well optioned one; s-chrono, nav, cornering lights,Bose, auto ac,, full expel covering. The front end and entire hood.

My understanding is that it was formerly owned by a well known Porsche guy who daily drove it. They took extremely good care of the car it literally doesn't have a chip or a ding.

I'm impressed with how fast it revs, I can see it being really easy to redline it in lower gears. I'm hoping to get it to lime rock for some DE days next spring
