Twin Exhaust Tips
I have been a lurker for almost a year on this forum and finally I will be a first time Porsche owner soon coming from BMW 330 E46 and Mini Cooper S R53. I love the Cayman's looks (very sexy), dynamics, and the non-PSE exhaust sound of the n/a H6.
I still have time to change my configuration and now thinking of twin tips as add-on. I think that it will enhance the looks but will it sound even better to justify the CAD$750 extra cost? Please convince me.
During my test drive, the single tip base 2.7 actually sounded better than the 3.4 (S model).
Coming soon (spring):
2016 Cayman 2.7L H6
Carrara White
PDK
19" Boxster Wheels
Thank you.

I wouldn't spend $750 on exhaust tips, especially if you're not going to go PSE. There are a few companies that make aftermarket exhaust tips that would be cheaper and very high quality.

Tks.
saw a video clip of 981S non-PSE stock replaced with Fabspeed tip only in Youtube. It has more pops than stock at half the price. Just wondering if it is DIY (for me).

It is two exhaust pipe clamps, you could do it in less time than an oil change. Loosen clamp bolts, slide clamp back and remove tips, slide clamp over new tips, bolt down, and enjoy.
