Default 996.1 c2 vs 987.1 cayman s

Debating on getting one of these but not sure which one. Both are at a local used dealership and I've driven both. Cay,an feels like it handles better and has a more modern look but imo the 911 feels it has more power and enters and exits corners faster. Can you guys help?

From your other post it sounds like you've already bought the 996.
But if you're still curious conventional wisdom says that a 996 needs to enter corners a bit slower than a mid-engined Cayman.
But the 996 is better at powering out of a corner due to the rear weight bias.
From personal experience my Cayman was always quicker through the twisties than my 996 C4. But the 996 was a tiptronic cab which does hurt performance somewhat.
Unless you're driving past 6/10ths, the performance difference doesn't really come into play.
