Default Trying to buy a GT4 at MSRP

Every dealership I talked to either want 10-20k premium over MSRP in SoCal or all their allotment are spoken for. I really don't want to pay over MSRP?

I put a deposit down and ordered one for December delivery for $10k over MSRP. Then the we couldn't agree on the trade in value on my other car and they wanted to give me the deposit back and basically tell me to get lost. So I'm done with McKennaPorsche in Norwalk SoCal. I'm willing to pay MSRP anywhere and pay to truck it to SoCal it'll still end up less than paying $10k over

Wow. I don't think I'd ever buy a car over and above list price, and here in Germany you get every Porsche at list price or below (probably no discount on GT4, but you'll get some other goodies for free).

over the next 6-12 months as cars get delivered and people change their minds or decide to cash in there will be cars offered here new or practically new at 10-15k over I would think...so if you want one you should be able to get one. at, msrp, not easy. but you prob won't get the specs exactly as u would like

When will people realize that most of these So Cal and No Cal dealers are worthless? They have dozens and dozens on their wait lists yet they'll withhold allocations to those people on the wait lists to try to squeeze the last penny out of each allocation. Screw them.

Is the GT4 limited production? Or after the initial allotment, will they be producing them on demand?

I mean in the past, I order a car, wait months and you get it off the boat.

How is this any different? Even if I want to wait 1 year, I can't get it at MSRP?

It's not a limited edition officially but apparently factory restrains limits production to ~600 worldwide for the 2016 model year so I heard. That means each dealership gets no more than 7 for the year. All the dealerships I contacted locally have all their allotments spoken for already. Pacific and Rusnak both ask for $20k over and I still can't get one even if I'm willing to pay(which I'm not)

Give it time. This always happens...did with GT3, the RS, etc. Once the hype is over there will be cars at MSRP. Look at the the GT3 market right now.
