Default How did you spec your GT4?

I'll start it off, we went with only the necessities on our GT4 lol. It is going to get around 100 miles on it then it's going into the shop and will become a racecar. We are going to be selling off the interior, wheels and seats so stay tuned for that. It is on the water and lands at the port at anytime. So excited to see one in the flesh!

Why not just modify a standard 981 instead of the GT4?

You're going to be selling the unobtainable buckets? Will be curious to see what they go for

Probably because the standard 981 doesn't have the motor, brakes, suspension or body in white the GT4 does.

Mine will be a third car. It will be driven once or twice a week with a few AuotX/DE events a year.

1. Guards Red - G1
2. Leather interior with platinum stitching - 78
3. Wing supports in black - 802
4. Extended Fuel Tank - 085
5. Wheels painted in silver - 346
6. Luggage Net - 581
7. Smoking package - 583
8. Light Design package - 630 (I don't really want this but it's required to order the alcantara sunvisors)
9. Bucket Seats - P11
10. Sun visors in alcantara - XLU
11. PCM - P23 (I don't really want nav either but I do want the higher quality screen and the ability to add a back up camera later. I am on the fence as to whether to change this to the CDR + Audio option and save $1,200 but I really don't want satellite radio or the roof wart).

My understanding from an experienced high end car audio shop is that a back-up camera can be added to display on the GT4's standard Sound Package Plus screen.

Might get more response in the GT4 forum.
My guess on the seats is $16k.

Can you provide a contact? I'd happily save nearly $2,000 if I can

My guess is that you will be able to buy them over the parts counter for 8 k+-.

PM sent. I plan to install a back-up camera in my GT4 using the standard screen.

Exactly - $8k each.

The GT2 seats are $9250 a pair. The Euro GT3 seats (full carbon fiber shell, same as Carrera GT) are the most similar to the 918 seats. Those are $17,900 a pair and don't have airbags or height adjustment. If the 918 seats become available, they will probably be close to the price of the CGT seats, if not more. Probably a moot point as they can hardly keep up with demand for the cars, let alone any extras!

Thanks Dan! I've emailed your contact. Hopefully he'll respond even though I'm way out in S. CA.
