Cyl 4,5 and 6 wont work
hello guys…first time porsche owner bothering you guys for your advice….I will be brief and not too much bla bla bla….
I just repack the engine
Porsche cayman 2.7 engine.
brand new everything, coils spark plugs, ventilation valve, etc etc etc .
heads in good conditions restored by a real nice machine shop
valves seated very well and tested with vaccum.
I done the job…Im mechanic.
problem is that left side head its cold…not explosion on cyl 4 5 and 6
I check everything icluiding the lifters….lifters are ok.
What I suspect its the time,
Timming on pistons 4 5 and 6 I believe its not correct.
Just looking guys for some pictures or the repair manual to recheck this issue.
Thanks guys and have a nice ride….

After setting the timing on cylinders 1-2-3, you must rotate the engine a full 360 degrees before setting the timing on 4-5-6.

Thanks Boiler…..but If piston 1 go to top of the block on TDC, why cylinder 4 makes same thing? I was measuring this with a long ratch extension and boths cyl 1 and 4 goes up at the samen time…unless piston 5 and 6 makes something different when you turn the crank 360 degrees…

I don't know why. I just know that you have to rotate the engine a full turn. Good luck.
