Lucked into one at my dealer while getting my Cayman S serviced and passed to a friend of mine in the market for one. A few are out there and not all are gone. Just timing and luck.

Article in WSJ the other day on how new car dealers are trying to stop websites like Autotrader and other buying sites from growing and encroaching.

I found a major dealer who believes what u are saying. He thinks he can get me an allocation. Asked for my build code, and will notify me if he gets another allocation, at which point he wants a 10% deposit. He seems fairly confident...

don't know what the hype is on the buckets... I sat in them @ dealer and they sucked... not comfortable and you have to be a big guy to really fit nicely in them... I'm 5,10 185 lbs and they didn't feel right... my 996 GT3 seats fit much better and provide more support...
options would be to get the regular seats then put in a corbeau cloth race seat... or something similar

Which dealer is this? I can't find an allocation anywhere...
