Default Interest and opinions on Porsche Cayman Body Kit

Hello all! I'm not very familiar with the Porsche world but I'm dealing with a company that is making a few different body kits and parts for other car's so I wanted to share here and get everyones thoughts and opinions for one of the Porsche kits offered.

I'll try to share as much information about the kit that I know and hope to be enlighten by some that know more then myself. I've been in the parts and car world long enough to know this type of thing isn't going to appease the purist or the masses, but for those who like to modify their cars here it goes.

This kit is for the Cayman. From what I understand 2005-2009. This is called the RR Body Kit and includes:

Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Lip/Splitter
Side Skirts
Side Skirt Covers
Double Trunk Spoiler
Rear Quarter Panels
Fog Lamps
LED Daytime Running Lights

This kit is around $6,500 plus shipping. I'd like to find someone interested and see what we can do to get the kit on and get some better Hi-Res pictures. Also wheel fitment will be an issue. Custom wheels (or spacers) would be needed. I can help here and possibly help with specifications.

The kits are made of FRP and will take a few days to be made. Shipping will also take some time.

If you're interested please shoot me a PM, email or text/call to discuss more details. I'm willing to work with anyone in hopes to have an install breakdown and pictures.

Thanks!

Oh... Wow... I just threw up a little in my mouth... Whoever did that to that Cayman should be ashamed... That car is now ruined...

You asked for opinions... Be careful what you wish for...

Looks like an early prototype of the Batmobile. The Cayman body style can't be improved on by adding on a bunch of plastic.

Thanks, I understand I did asked for opinions and I would still like them. A simple "I don't like it" will suffice. I don't need the verbal lashing or creative comments but if you feel the need that's fair. You won't hurt my feelings. Personally, I think the kit looks great, however I do not own a Cayman so I'm not in a position to form an accurate opinion.

Hopefully there is some interest on the kit in the future.

I think it's CUGLY! That's ugly times the speed of light. Who in their right mind would do that to a car?

Also, I think you need to be a paying member or sponsor to shill for products. Even stuff no one will buy.

Puts the "UG" in ugly. I'd never do this to any Porsche.

A similar kit for Japanese iron might appeal to the ricer crowd ... and NO, I wouldn't do anything similar to my Mazdas.

what these cars call out for is 150 more foot pounds of torque....not lickum stickum poser panels. BUT i would not be surprised that the kit sells.there are folks here that spend 500 + for exotic wheel bolts.good luck with the kit.

Mods please feel free to delete if rules are being broken.

Yes the objective is to sell kits, however not my full intention with the post. Looking for opinions and it seems to be the consensus is a no go from the community here. I can respect that. Thanks for the input.

What size wheels & tires fit under those fenders? Looks like a lot of room added...

that's been around for awhile... called Anibal Automotive.. http://anibalautomotive.com/

I think this one looks good, but i agree it would need a 3.8 transplant or TPC turbo

I don't like it.

Plus the rims look too small.
