Sapphire blue is a great colour.

Hi all,

A few questions as i'm working on my build but more regarding resale incase i ever need to sell it:

1) Does 2 zone climate control really matter?

2) Heated seats? Assuming i wimp out and dont get LWBS is this really something matters to a gt car buyer anyway? My car is in the northeast so i won't be driving the car in cold temps.

3) Does the CDR plus option or the Nav option give you bluetooth connectivity for your phone through the cars speakers? I'm not sure a gt buyer really also cars that much about navigation either right?

Thanks and goodluck to everyone on their build!

Generally speaking, no options will retain much resale value.

2 zone climate gives you automatic climate control. Without it, you have to manually set fan, temp, etc...

Get heated seats if you want them. My opinion is if you want a track car, get the LWBs. If you want a daily driver, get the GTS instead.

I believe CDR+ gives you usb and bluetooth

While options won't retain resale value, they normally help with the sale of the car in the future.

If you're going to skip LWBs, I would add heated seats and the other options you're considering. A car without LWBs will appeal more to those who will use the car on the street often where heated seats/NAV will be more desired.

This is a GT car. Not much higher up the food chain to go. I will spec it the way I want and not care about resale.

I am not a 911 fan so any upgrade would put me in Ferrari or McLaren territory which is very unlikely.

Keep seeing that carmine red picture at the factory and feeling a strong affinity for it... It's lasted more than one day.. So hopefully one color takes the lead in my mind and stays there

To me, climate control yes, two zone no. (But you can't get one without the other.) To a GT buyer who knows. I assume it doesn't add much weight so is not a bad option.

3) Does the CDR plus option or the Nav option give you bluetooth connectivity for your phone through the cars speakers?
CDR+ includes BlueTooth streaming (i.e. playing music via BlueTooth through the car speakers.) I thought BlueTooth (phone calls through the car speakers) was standard.

I am sold on black now with red calipers peeking out behind black satin rims.

Would the mods please merge all of these "loose" GT4 threads into the GT4 forum? Thanks in advance!

I'm doing Rhodium with black uprights FWIW.

Default Sat in Sport Bucket Seats this weekend

Tested sitting in the Sport Bucket seat this weekend in a new GT3.

I am 6'3" and 240#s. I felt the Buckets fit me just fine. Snug, but not uncomfortable. No room for wallets or cell phones. The cushioning felt great too. The high sides do make it more challenging getting in and out. Also no back adjustment but the positioning was exactly right for my preference. They look awesome and work well to secure your body when on the track.

My advice on the Buckets: Get Them - if you are my size or smaller.

it should be noted that the clubsport option requires you order the buckets and together they are about $9k.

I can see the buckets being $5k but another $4 for the:
back rollbar
lw fire ex
prep for cutoff (not the cuoff itself note)
1x 6 point harness
.... is very steep.

I guess they're charging $3k for the 'rareness' of the factory CS

Don't complain... here in the US, we can't get the clubsport option no matter the cost. Our federal regulations (thank you again DOT) makes it impossible.
