Default Muffler painting?

Anyone painted their mufflers or even considered it? Looking at the car from the rear the stock mufflers are just so visible that I am thinking about painting them with a good high temp paint, probably flat black. Experience/opinions?

Yep. BTDT. Easy.

Little steel wool action.

Wipe down with alcohol.

Mask a straight line with painters tape. Brush painted with flat black high temp paint. Worked great.

Put a good coat of paint on first time. Second coat not recommended per the product label.

Thanks Lex. I'm going to try it.
