Default Cayman R Wow!

Hello guys
I being following the forum for a while, and just got myself a Cayman R, and what a car !, I love it!, looking forward to taking it to the track.
I want to thanks Dr Bill, he sold me his car, and make the process painless, and the car is in great condition.

Car is perfect for me , only future mods are 5 point harness and possibly retrofitting PSE, I want to make it a little louder at time.

Will be posting more pictures soon.

Welcome to the club, Cayman R is a really special car. Future collectable IMHO.

I have a '07 CS stick and a '12 CS PDK - CR is more refined and lighter on its feet at the same time. It just dances over the pavement - you will love it.

Snap, Just bought myself a Cayman R. Very impressed so far. Any weaknesses in the track for these and what options are there for fitting harnesses?

Clubsport roll cage plus Schroth harness. Heigo has one "off the shelf", my dealer has just ordered one for mine.

Why does yours have the old steering wheel? Thought all CRs have the new design with paddles?

Short answer is not sure. The car was originally an UK demo vehicle, but I can't see anything on the option sheet that says they selected the wheel over a standard one. It seems very intuitive with those switches which is always an important factor for the track.
