Default Good 987.2 suspension setup for street/track car?

Curious what best suspension setup for a car 987.2 S with PASM that is driven on bumpy mountain roads , occasional track days, autocross and Hillclimbs might be?

I have lots of experience with JRZ, KW , Bilstein Coilovers on other cars. I m a little hesitant to go full coilover in fear of wrecking street ride, clacking coilovers, etc.

Does someone make a great coilover that can be driven on street without turning the car into a cuisanart ? Or should I just go with cayman R springs and Bilstein sports with bigger bars and gt3 arms?

I really want to keep sane street car ride without clanking, jiggles and squeaks. I'm not afraid of stiff suspension but don't want car that jumps over every bump. Impossible?

I got awfully close with my Nissan 370Z hillclimb car and set of JRZ Coilovers , but I'd like to spend a little less.

Are the PSS 9 damptronics ok? I read a few bad things about them. Is there a better setup for us guys who like to drive our cars on streets and not shake out fillings out?

I remember way back chasing a certain cayman S around laguna Seca in my little Olympic blue 2.5 liter 914/6 and thinking wow these caymans are pretty cool! Just took me a while to get into one! I also wanted an affordable 987.2 with 9a1 motor and that happened last month!

Yes will definitely be talking to Tony soon.

I was eyeing those - was hoping they were 18's. Im already on 19's for street as car came with PCCBs.

Thinking I will pick up a set ofthose cheap lightweight OZ wheels in 18 for track duty.

The CR suspension is pretty darn good if you don't want to go with coil overs.

I got that, I was thinking he could buy the retrofit CR suspension if he didn't want to go with coil overs.

I've been tracking a Cayman since 2008 and now have over 100 days in instructor run group. Must haves for a 987.1 are GT3 LCAs, Deep Sump, Motorsport AOS, and a power steering cooler.

The OZ 18's seem to be pretty popular for the price.

I picked up very cheap set of Enkiei NTO3 wheels 18x8.5 18x10. Putting Hankook TD Ventus 221 soft compound 265 and 295 on wheels. Still looking for a suspension to replace stock PASM. Looking at KW and Bilstein options. Guess CR suspension might be an option.

Also have ordered Aasco flywheel and Sachs sports clutch. Lightweight Braille battery.
