Default 2012 Cayman R exhaust on 2008 Cayman S?

Just wondering if a Cayman R exhaust will fit on my 2008 Cayman S? Anyone done this or have an idea if this will work? Thanks.

No, the primary pipe lengths are different.
You could make it work with some cut/fab work but not worth the time imho.

Will not fit. What would be the benefit anyway?
Step 1 - Stop being a wuss
Step 2 - Call Fabspeed
Step 3 - Buy Fabspeed race exhaust
Step 4 - Awesomeness!!!

Look at the fabspeed maxflow system or Borla. The 987.1 actually gains a decent amount of HP from going with an aftermarket system.

mooty, I don't know where you got your info., but the S and R exhaust are interchangeable on 987 Gen 2 9A1 engines ('09-'12)
I've done it on two cars, and dynoed both of them, and the magical Porsche 5mm larger primaries on the R added up to a whopping 0 HP.....
The S/R 9A1 Gen 2 manifolds and spacing are the same so you can swap the exhausts and they perform the same.
He can't use your S exhaust because the M97 engine ('06-'08) has different cylinder spacing, which moves the ports which moves the primaries.

He won't drive there. walls. I need to get up there but only on open or loud days. I have stock mufflers but don't want to bother.
