Help me out here; am I seeing an "R" with a roof rack loaded with tires? In North America?

No. it is a Gen 1 car so not an R.

well, that's a little better at least. but only by degrees.
Had an odd one on way to work this morning myself. Was coming down spine road in middle of DFW airport and off to my left pulls up my clone; Silver CS. Cruised down Airport fwy in trail a ways then each his own way.

You can get the track stickers from www.stickitdesigns.com. sometimes his wensite sucks don't be hesitant to contact him by e-mail. I've bought numerous sets from him over the years. Good product wide selection of tracks and colors.
