Default People with ordered cars

Has anyone had an update on their completed cars since before the holidays. Mine was a Dec 10 Completed production Cayman and the last I heard before Christmas was that it was "on the water" but no ship name or arrival in port date was on the dealer web site. Most of Germany and Europe shuts down from just before Christmas until the New Year so this is probably the first day back to work for Porsche AG. Starting to get excited and my wife would like the goodies for the car out of the guest bedroom. Actually have a bet with the dealer on whether the Cayman will get here before our Cayenne is repaired. As some may know the Cayenne was rear ended on 18 December and is still far from back together.

My CS was completed on Nov 6th and arrived at the dealer on December16th. My dealer is about 8 hours from the port in Brunswick Ga. I do not think you car was built in Germany but they all take a good holiday. You have every right to be excited. Happy New Year.

An update. My car has made it across the ocean on the Hercules Highway which is currently in port in Baltimore. It is scheduled to make port in Houston on 18 January so I should see the car around the 21st . Been a long wait especially with the Cayenne in the shop for almost a month because we were rear-ended. Oh well, the Cayenne may get home Friday and next week the Cayman will be here.

Actually the Hercules Highway's captain must have had the crew row faster as it is now estimated to make the Port of Houston late Saturday night so I should see the car on Weds next week. Yea

I got confirmation that the Hercules Highway has unloaded in Houston and my car is now PDI status. The forecast is that it will arrive at the Dealer on Weds. Getting close.
