I believe it is Ruf!...
No.. just RUF bumper...

but it doesn't look that much better than the stock front to me; not enough to justify the expense of such a project.
I don't know... I really think it's a huge improvement!

Purchased 30 May 2009. 6-speed, PASM, biXenon. WOW do I love it.

It's my first Porsche sportscar; I had a 2004 Cayenne Turbo for 4 years ending in 2007.

jumper5836, first photo in that series is their 997RSR and surely not their Cayman. As for the Cayman it only does fairly well against the other cars when it raced but never really did anything to make one think that a Cayman race car would trump the GT3's, at least this is the impression I always got when watching it race on the 'Ring.

Bodhii has the engine holding up with the turbo at the track? Does the engine get much hotter?
How do you find the power compared to the GT3s

Bodhii - who makes that front spoiler on your car (looks like Motordrive/Tess Tickle's) ?

Lookin' good . . .

Yep, the front splitter is from Tess. Excellent quality and design. http://motordrive.com/acatalog/
The TPC Turbo is fine and reliable as a track setup. I drive it as hard as possible. I do check all fluids more regularly. And tracking/ racing this turbo does require a bit more skill when driving with the PSM off, so that you keep the car smooth and predictable as the turbos spool up. Otherwise the turbo power can come at a time when the car is not quite settled. I have learned to heel and toe a bit more, keeping the turbos engaged, and applying the gas a bit more gingerly and smoothly as I exit. I love it.

I have over 25 track days with the TPC 1st gen. turbo, or about 41.6 hours at 9/10-10/10 speed. I have NOT had any overheating events, but I am very concerned about getting the HUGE amount of super heated air OUT of the Cayman's small engine area. The lack of proper exit ventilation in this small confined engine area, is a considerable wear problem on all engine components while tracking/ racing any Cayman.

The only Porsches that seem faster than I, are Porsche 996 Cup cars and above. Obviously there are better modified GT3's or Turbo's with superior drivers that will better me. I just haven't seen them yet. And please understand my car is also VERY modified. Its not just the TPC Turbo. And I did get beat by a full track, supercharged Lotus Exige S by 2/100 sec in a time trial last week, as well as by 5 Porsche Cup cars. ( My car is still street legal with most of a stock interior.)

Man, I love that M-Speed Cayman!!
