Cayman in the June 2005 R&T
R&T's June 2005 Ampersand section has a couple paragraphs on the Cayman along with a front 3/4 pic of a red Cayman sporting PCCBs.
The text doesn't give any new information just some rumor..."It is not know if Porsche will offer the Cayman with two or more engine options, but as the model will be priced around the same level as the corresponding Boxsters, it seems probable that the Cayman's performance level will be kept below that of the 911."
Of interest is the picture. I hadn't seen it before. It is a passenger side front 3/4 shot of a red Cayman, PCCBs, 5 vent openings for the intake, clear euro spec side markers , and euro license plate.
I couldn't find a link to it on R&Ts website.

Definitely a photoshop, the rear side window cannot be the way it's shown for a mid-engine lay-out. Also, we know the front fog lights are not identical to the boxter.

Your not missing anything Paul......the photo looks like one of the first photoshops that came out on it......definitely nothing new. The commentary was a bunch of junk also.....IMO.
