Default Freshly Waxed!

I took the opportunity of the 40° weather today to wax my new Cayenne! Cleaned up very nice, almost too nice because I am now noticing a few penny sized dents haha. I have used many waxes over the past few years, and my favorite is Chemical Guys Wet Wax. It works miracles! Enjoy the pics! The T2 in the background is my little brothers, 2008 V8 Exec.

kudos..

I think my Cayenne will be the first vehicle I will take to a "pro" for bi-yearly waxing after initial polish/paint correction.. Too big a vehicle , and I got too many things to maintain... I think I am getting old

Looks great!

We had 70s two weekends ago here in IL so I did the same... full treatment. Wash, clay bar, HD Cleanse paint cleaner, then Rejex sealant.

I don't think anyone properly cleaned mine before... as I've never completely destroyed a clay bar like I did on my 958. One 18"x18" square section on the roof (basically a "U" shape around the sunroof) and the bar came out FILTHY.

My arms hurt for 2 days after I finished it. But it turned out nice! Of course 3 days later we got snow flurries so everything is covered in salt already But at least it's got a good base on it now...

me too! In college, I waxed my car every friday. Now I've got 4 street driven vehicles. The Z4 has professionally applied CQuartz finest ceramic coating, The Cayenne and Ram have the home user CQuartz and the 911 has a new ceramic from Pinnacle. No more waxing for me, and the cayenne and ram don't even get washed by hand, only taken to the car wash.

Looks great!

I did almost the opposite... took mine on a long drive to a gravel road and then through a muddy field with a bunch of dirty stuff strapped on the hitch basket.

Love that color and wheel combo, well done. Is that an S or base? I did a mid-winter clean up last week and found a tiny ding...my wife is going to have me sent away.

It's a base, my last 4 cars have been V8's and they have been a little scary haha. My last X5 (2012) had the N63 V8 and it had so many issues. Taking a break from V8's for a while. The plan now is to keep this until 100k and trade it in on a 15' CTT. Only time will tell haha

Very nice, well done! Great looking vehicle.

My CTT is the same color and let me tell ya, if you get a set of the OEM tinted tail lights (take a look at a GTS model), it makes a tremendous difference to the look of the vehicle with the meteor grey metallic.
