Hi all,

Fitting an aftermarket Android unit to my MY08 957 and I'm trying to remove the Navigation DVD Drive under the right hand (driver for me, passenger for LHD markets) seat to access the GPS aerial fakra. Anyone got some quick dot points on how to remove it? Tried searching the forums but no luck.

Worked it out... for anyone who's come across this seeking to do it themselves, it's actually quite simple - there are two metal tabs on top of the unit. Press these both in while pulling out on the plastic frame of the navi unit HARD. It'll slide out. You may need to use a screwdriver to lever it out the first mm or two to keep the tabs down and then use two fingers to pull the entire frame out from there.

Once out, you can remove the Navi drive from the frame by pressing on the two pink tabs on the side whilst pulling the drive itself out.
