My Passport 9500 became 'inactive' for aome reason. It just turned off while driving and wont come back on. I checked fuses, and found what I believe is the power (side note, i am really surprised at how it was wired. The read lead was just rapped around one of the legs of a fuse). All fuses are fine. Instead of pulling things apart to follow the wires, i thought I would ask where the control box mught be.

It's not a factory item. Someone installed it aftermarket. Find that person and slap them upside the head for doing a crappy job.
