VentoGT.....what are you waiting for? I'd be ALL OVER that one! It even has the ultra-rare, metal skid plate. At 107k... most critical issues will have already been addressed.

If the Carfax lists:

a) Coolant bypass pipes
b) Driveshaft bearing
c) Coils

It's a BUY...

It's hard to tell from the low quality pictures but it looks to me to be pretty ragged out cosmetically. Cracks and scuffs in the bumpers and leather. Would be a no go for me even at the price.

Does the size 13 Nike Air Left shoe displayed on the hood come with it?

Is rust not a concern on these vehicles? 100k miles over 13 years in the northeast is rough on most cars, and this one looks like it's parked outside, too...

Yeah it's too ratty for me to take a chance on at this point. Onward! Unfortunately dealers still have happy eyes and ears on the 957s and seem happy to let them sit on lots for months without selling, quoting listed prices as purchase prices. The people I've spoken to on the board as well as a few dealers I personally know have told me I'm right that I can get an 08-09 with 65-85K miles in the low to mid 20K range so that is where I am sticking. I'm settling in for the long haul and am going to start advertising my S8 on Autotrader to see if I can unload that before buying to open my options up more.

The 2005 has had 5 owners. It lived in CA for most of its mileage. Then it lived in FL where it eventually found its way to MA. I don't see coolant pipes, coils, or driveshaft bearing. I do see camshaft seals replace and regular service. It does have a mileage inconsistency but it clearly looks clerical. It seems pretty good.

That black 2006 with sport technos looks like a great buy and looks well cared for. I'm forwarding it to a buddy of mine who is looking. Thanks!
