I bought my 968 and my Alfa from the Seattle area, so there is something about me shipping cars cross country from Washington that I don't mind I can share the information from the shipping company I recently used as well that did a nice job for me if you end up going that route--

The sagging headliner is pretty common on these cars, especially if they spent a lot of time in a warm climate. When I bought my 46k mile CTT from the Porsche dealer the headliner was sagging. I didn't want to buy the car until they replaced the headliner.
I would also check to make sure the coolant T's have been done. These are a major pain to do and costly if you have to farm this work out.

Well I guess I have Cayenne fever now.
What started as a "wow, these things have depreciated to a level where buying one might be fun....look at this low mile 04 for 14k"
and...
What does that post about "IF YOUR GOING TO BUY A 955 READ THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU ASK YOUR QUESTION" mean?
to now:
Trying to decide between an 08 CTT for 24k
VIN: WP1AC29P28LA92051
and an 08 GTS for 20k
VIN: WP1AD29P98LA74143
I think the die is cast, I'm getting one is just a matter of which one.

Well the 08 GTS sold before I could get there on Saturday. It's ok, it was red and I wasn't that crazy about it. Sort of down to looking at these three
08 CTT with 88k for 24k with PDCC
VIN: WP1AC29P28LA92051
05 CS with 56k miles for 16k
VIN: WP1AB29P85LA66407
06 CS with 87k for 13k (personally, I kind of dig the spare carrier)
VIN: WP1AB29P26LA62385
My heart is really set on the 08 CTT, but not sure if its really 10k better than the other two. At least with an 08 the coolant tubes are not an issue. But will potential issues with the turbo's and air suspension negate the benefit of not having to replace the coolant tubes.

Not really.
The air suspension is pretty solid. The air "shocks" themselves rarely fail. The compressor is known to go out after a while, but there is a rebuild kit that replaces the bad seals and stuff for a fraction of the cost of a replacement compressor.
And the turbos (the actual turbochargers) are also very reliable. I have yet to hear of them failing.

Turbo S at dealers won't be selling anytime soon since some dealers thought/still think there is a premium for Turbo S and subsequently overpaid...the MMR [Manheim/wholesale] numbers are all out of whack--like 40% higher than similar Turbo of same year and mileage--until they start taking their medicine on them the market price will be artificially inflated. Even with MMR numbers on regular Turbos, dealers are listing them way way over so there is some perceived premium to the Cayenne. I have also started to realize that KBB and Edmunds are in the dealers' pockets and serve only to inflate retail prices of used cars after researching trade in versus sell values. At any rate, the market is soft in my opinion and will only get softer as news of the new gen Cayenne begins to trickle in. Be patient and firm with what you are going to spend--there are enough of these trucks out there and I see VERY FEW actually selling to the retail market, just changing hands between dealers [3 I missed were sold to dealers or off to auction, to be sold to another dealer].
Dilberto's earlier observation looks right on with the 955 cars, but to get to $21-24K for an 09 you'll have to fight but I think it's theoretically doable. For no coherent reason 2009s are valued at a 20-30% premium to 08s based on the sniff test of advertised cars. 08+ Turbos are all listed $26K plus up to mid $30Ks. Private sellers are even more in the clouds. There is not a good representation of what end user buyers are paying vs what people are advertising. Just be ready to walk and move onto the next one.
Just an observation after looking at every Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S publicly listed in the past 90 days.
