Underbody protection at trans loose
The other night I came around a tight bend while driving a canyon (35 MPH) and couldn't avoid going over a piece of a tree limb. Aside from a minor scratch on the front underbody plastic panel there was was no sign of damage underneath, but it apparently snagged and dislodged the rearmost underbody guard panel that's over the trans. The guard is is now loose at the rear and hanging down about an inch at a slight angle. It looks like its held in place by spring clips. Can someone tell me if this panel will snap back into place if I use length of wood as a lever under it. I have no means to really get underneath to inspect closely without taking it to someplace with a lift.

Based on the pics on Pelican Parts it looks like the spring clips basically hold it in position once it's placed over the bracket.
You may just need to flex the panel enough to get it to over the bracket.

Not sure how well a piece of wood will work based on how it clips in. If you can, put it in terrain height (and lock it) and maybe even drove up on pieces of wood or bricks to get under it.
BTW, I have the same fluid stains on my 2005 CTT. Any idea what it is?
