Mechanic Recommendation in Philadelphia
So, I brought my 2005 Cayenne Turbo to the local dealership for an inspection and they came back with a laundry list of necessary repairs (listed below) which, together, would cost more than I paid for the car a few months back...
I'd love to have the dealer do the work, but I can't justify the expense on a vehicle with almost 100k miles. Can anyone recommend a quality shop in the West or North suburbs of Philadelphia that might be significantly less expensive than the dealer for some or all of the work? Think any/all of the following repairs are best left to the dealer?
Thanks so much in advance!
Repairs as follow:
1) Repair/replace lower control arm and bushings
2) Perform alignment
3) Repair/replace torn upper engine mount bushing
4) Repair/replace valve cover gaskets
5) Repair/replace cracked breather hose
6) Repair/replace seal at left intercooler
7) Perform throttle body cleaning service and install treatment to clean fuel systems
8) Repair/replace failing starter motor
9) Replace front brake pads, rotors, and sensors and flush brakes
