4-wheel alignment for 2005 S
Does the P!G subframe actually need to be lifted when doing a 4-wheel alignment? An Indy shop told me they could not do mine because they need to let the axles dangle, when setting the F/R camber adjustments. From my understanding - front camber/caster/toe is a matter of turning three eccentric bolts, on each wheel. Rear camber and toe is simply two eccentrics, located on the lower rear control arms. I'm sure there is no problem setting camber/caster/toe when all wheels are loaded-upon. I am getting wacky price quotes from $50(Indy)-$450($tealer). Do I need to just buy some string and do it myself?

You don't need the suspension in full-droop mode to align it.
You can align the Cayenne anywhere, but to do it right, it has to go to the dealer. You need PIWIS to read the steering angle and make sure the suspension is level. If the suspension auto-levels while on a surface that isn't flat, your alignment will be off. They can eyeball the steering angle, but PIWIS will read accurately which degree it's at.
