My 08 CTT that had a following entry in the service records at 42K miles:

"...COOLANT LEAKING FROM REAR COOLANT DISTRIBUTOR HOUSING ON REAR OF CYLINDER HEADS. LOWER ENGINE ASSEMBLY, RESEAL COOLANT HOUSING, RESEAL COOLANT PIPE TO HOUSING, INSTALL ENGINE, TOP UP ALL FLUIDS."

What I can't determine is if any pipes are other parts were changed or upgraded, seems like they just "resealed" everything.

I am guessing that they use the newer adhesive to attach the coolant pipe to the housing. The best way to do this is to seal it with the latest seal and then "pin" it with a set screw.
