Change steering oil Cayenne S 4.8 ?!?
I bought 1L CHF 202 steering oil for my Cayenne S to fill it up. But when I opened steering oil reservoir oil was yellow in it. So I need to empty whole qty of oil in steering system and put new 202 oil in it (blue color).
How do I flush oil in my Cayenne S 4.8 2008?
Thanks

I think you'll just have to pull the hose going to the steering rack, that is what I did. I jacked up the front wheels off the ground with engine off, remove hose and let it drain first then get inside and turn the key to unlock the steering but do not start. Then turn the wheel from stop to stop a couple of times. Reconnect hose, refill to the top, start engine, move steering from stop to stop then recheck reservoir level.
In your case since it sounds like someone used the wrong fluid, you may want to do the flushing, drive it for a day then do it again. You'll probably need at least 2ltr to do the whole system.

Thank you for fast reply. Can you take picture of that hose you took of? And post it here... So you are saying I need one litar of 202 and drive one day. The next one I drain again and put new oil in it. One more question. I have PDCC in my Porsche. How much oil do I need?

Here is a link to the diagram. You have to pull off the Belly pan to get at it. I won't have my Cayenne on the lift for a few weeks. Yea, about 1Ltr each time.

The hose in the lower right is the one I pulled but one of the hoses going to the Cooler would be just as good. The other hose just happen to be handy as I was working farther back removing my Secondary Cats and installing a bypass.

The original 202 was yellow/Amber. The old and new fluids are compatible. If you don't want to disconnect the hose, Turkey baster to remove the old fluid in the reservoir, fill with the new stuff (I thought it was green?). Drive the car or do the stuff mentioned above. With PDCC you'll need more, maybe even 4L to get it all flushed out to the right color.

it's also important to keep in mind that the reservoirs for the steering and PDCC are maintenance items.
I believe they need to be replaced every 30k or every 50k miles, but there's a filter built into the reservoir and Porsche doesn't sell just the filter, so you need to buy 2 new reservoirs, but they're relatively inexpensive
