Default BF Goodrich KO2 Sizing and Availability

Just a heads up for those who take their pigs off road. I will be waiting for the 255/55/18 size to be released Sept 1, 2015. It's the same exact size as oem.

Why not go with 265/65/18? Adds an inch of ground clearance, and taller sidewalls.

I have a set of 265/65/18 and they are awesome. No rubbing even at low level.

Nice! I think that's going to be my next set of tires after the snows are worn out.

I'm on regular springs and worried about any rubbing issues when turning with the 265/65/18. It would also give me a better clearance when I'm off road.

If he's not rubbing on low setting, you won't rub with coils. The low setting on the suspension is lower than coils.

That's good to know then I did read that there are some rubbing when you turn the wheels though (on some forums).

Next time I mount them, I'll try and make them rub. I'm back on the sport technos right now.

Verified today, even at low height and full steering, no rub.

Sounds good! But what about when under flexing or going through bumps. does it hit the fender wells?

Road noise is greater than on 20" hankooks, but not unbearable. I haven't had it any faster than 60mph for a short duration, though.

Comfort is better than the 20s, not surprisingly. Steering response and dry pavement traction is surprisingly good too. They are only rated for 106mph, though. For a long trip, I would want to put street tires back on, but for driving 6 miles to work and back on a bumpy road, these tires are great.

Still haven't had the slightest contact with the fender wells, even driving on the beach and crawling up sandy berms (at spec terrain height).
