Default replaced carden shaft for $435

Gents

we just bought a 2006 Cayenne S for my wife and I drove 5 hours back from Chicago after picking it up. 15 minutes from home i get the thump, thump, thump from under the mid section of the car. I ordered a new (not rebuilt) drive shaft from Detroit Axle for $275 shipped and had my local porsche mechanic install it for $160 labor. We'll see how it performs after awhile, better than $1500 dealer quote and $1100 quote from speciality shop

Just ordered one of these as well. Not much information on the net about them. Curious how your Detroit Axle shaft is holding up?

Thanks!
Matt
