Updated wiper blades and arms fixed my streaking problem.
It seems that Porsche and ECS haven't yet updated their parts inventory with the updated wiper blades being applicable to the 955, despite showing the arms being applicable. Like many touareg and cayenne owners, I had a bad streaking problem that wasn't getting resolved with new OEM blades. I replaced the windshield with a new OEM glass with no improvement, installed the updated wiper arms (helped a little), but it wasn't until I installed the updated blades that I finally got a clean windshield.
New Wiper Blade PN: 95562893911, $64
Driver Arm PN: 95562802922, $120
Passenger PN: 95562802822, $92
The arm is shaped slightly different, but the attachment is very different and now doesn't need the plastic cover. The old wiper blades will fit on the new arms, but the new blades won't fit on the old arms. I also had my passenger side spray nozzle pointed quite low on the windshield, causing it to miss the upper part of the glass. I went out with a safety pin expecting to have to adjust the little ball nozzles, but was surprised to see that it's simply a bar you move up and down with your fingers to adjust the spray nozzle position. Took 1 minute to get it adjusted to where I wanted it. I finally can see out of my glass when it's bad weather, and it takes only a quick pull of the wiper stalk to clean the winter grime off the glass, rather than trying to soak the windshield because my wiper blades sucked.
It's not a cheap upgrade at $276, but well worth it IMO.

No more plastic covers

You replaced your windshield because your wipers were leaving streaks?

Yes - and it had a few rock chips in it.
Was talking with a friend last night that has a Panamera Turbo, and I noticed his wiper arms and blades look like they're straight off a Nissan. Old style connection with the old style blades. Wonder why Porsche went back to that setup.

Revisiting old thread for input
Anyone else update the wiper arms and blades?
Does it cure the streaking and sounds that sound like dragging a baby's *** across the windshield?
I don't want to go thru another winter of crappy vision if a few hundred $$ can truly resolve it.
Sunsetporcheparts.com has them both for 215.00 shipped.
TIA

After running the new setup for a few months, the streaking came back. The only thing that fixed the issue for me was running some non-factory wiper blades. Tyco, Bosch Icon, etc. I'm happy to not have the caps on the wiper arms, but if you have streaking issues - get some non-porsche blades. Caybar the windshield to clean it if you're blades are jumping around or making noises.

I'm having an issue with the rear wiper/washer. It just shoots out one stream of fluid which misses the upper third of the sweep of the wiper. Unlike the front washers that send out a fan of liquid that hits all of the windshield.
Is this normal or do I have a plugged up washer jet?

It's supposed to be a jet, rather than a fan. It's a dumb design if you ask me. I find the rear wiper to be not very efficient with the fluid that comes out. Once the rear wiper starts to get some miles on it, you may be holding the rear washer on for 5+ seconds to get all the sweep clean. I've started replacing the rear wiper annually, if not sooner. I hate streaks on the rear window - especially on days like today.

I've always had the streaking problem. Yesterday I changed the OEM blades with BOSCH blades from NAPA. It made a world of difference. When I saw the difference I thought to myself that perhaps the blades will lose their tension/curve over time and become like the OEM ones, but your comment makes me hopeful that these ones will continue to clean in the manner they do now

Yes. I rarely get to drive the car (my wife loves it), so I haven't used them since I tried them following the install. But, this morning I could see that she had been using them and so I asked and she said that she "loves" them. They are a world of difference from the OE ones that were on before. I should add that, in my post above, I misremembered from where I bought them...it was a FLAPS called Partsource, but NAPA might also carry the Bosch brand.
