My 04 CS suffers hard downshifts like a lot of you guys experience. I read that i need a new valvebody for +1000$.
While searching i came across this Ebay listing:

This would be a very nicce and cheap fix for the valve body. So, my question. Is this a DIY?

I'm going to try this. I will order: Trango shift kit, gasket and filter, a Durametric cable and gearbox oil.

Touareg has the same transmission so this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Auto-Trans-F...b28fd1&vxp=mtr should fit. Can anyone confirm that?

Touareg parts are a whole lot cheaper! I'm going to order it right away.
