Default Porsche Entry and Drive. Would you get it again?

It's convenient, no doubt. But can be fickle. If you were to order again, would you get it?

After having it on my 2007 X5, the keyless entry and start was definitely on the list of must haves when it came to my new CTTS and my wife's Q5. So in response to your question, yes I would order this option again.

Now if Porsche would only replace the "fake" key with a start/stop button....

Can Entry and Drive be added to a Cayenne that doesn't have it?

I've only had my Cayenne for a couple of weeks but I love the entry & drive.

Love it. Wouldn't buy any car without it ever again.

I've had in on my last two vehicles, including my current 958.
I keep my keys in a Porsche leather pouch and keep in my briefcase or bag. I love never having to worry about taking it out or inserting anywhere.

Before i had this option, i would have thought, big deal. Not a must have option...
I consider it must have now (for me).

Push button should be standard on these trucks. I have had it on every car that I've owned the last five or six years......Z4, wife's old XC60, Explorer, my current DD an Accord (in sales so gotta have a horse to drive all over N Cal), and have Entry And Drive on the CS. Speaking of N Cal is the owner of the gorgeous CTT with the plates "GRN TEAR" a member or lurker here? If so you have a fantastic looking beast, saw you going over the Altamont Pass last night heading West.

So that's a long winded "yes" from me.

A convenience and yes I would have it again. No fickle here on a '06 CTTS.

You don't stick in your key. There is a "dummy" key stub that stays in. Unlike other car manufacturers, you have to "turn" the key rather than push a button to start the car.

I don't mind the dummy key. Who really cares whether you need to push or turn? Only downside of the dummy key is if the system fails you need to pop the dummy out and use the key. If you had a button you could skip that step.

Some thief could mistaken you left your key in the car and break the window in an attempt to steal the car. And then there is the possibility someone just stealing the key thinking it's a real key.
