Cayenne S - Gear Shifter/Selector does not respond.

I also had a durametric cable which has assisted in pulling codes, don't bother in plugging unplugging the battery just creates more codes will try fixing the bushes 1st so at least now I can start the car and let you all know I've also ordered a 15$ part hopefully to. Clamp the bushes in place so even if they deteriorating over time I won't loose the cable

hey I’ve got an 05’ 955 Turbo. Same issue happened as stated above. What did you do to resolve the issue? I can start the engine, but moving the gear selector does nothing. It seems to not want to engage Park, Reverse or Drive it’s in ‘neutral’. Also when this happened I had some problems removing my keys. Not sure how that’s related.

This is a 955 V6 2006.
Sat it in the morning, inserted the key.....and it doesnt start. The dash shows its in D whereas the gear lever is in P. The gear lever moves easily as usual.
The brake has become super hard. And normally when I would press the brake I could hear a click from the gear lever.....that is missing too.
Any ideas how to trouble shoot?
