Default Is this a control module issue?

Hi:

I have the 05 Cayenne and lately I have had issues with the confirming lock secondary horn. At the moment, the horn does not sound at all but when I roll down the window, lock the car and then open the door from the inside, the horn alarm goes off. So it is not the horn itself. Also, for a time there were no sentinel lights illuminating after the car was locked or unlocked. Weird electrical stuff. Where to look first? Fuses? Module failure?
Thanks as always for any help!

Bob

Have you done anything recently which may have reset the settings in your multifunction display, door locking preferences are set from there.

Yes, I did a reset and thats when the second horn stopped. Sometimes I get the message that the license plate lights are out and then the message disappears and all is normal. I will speak with my Porsche service guy here in Rochester and see if the car should be scanned for an electrical issue. I am away on vacation and not near my Cayenne but the first thing I will do is check the appropriate fuses.
