Default I replace the transfer case servo motor. still nothing

doing the same thing. Can't switch out of low 4wd. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to try next? I was thinking about replacing the running gear switch on the center console but not sure of the part number or how to get the console apart to get at it. Is there a fuse that runs that servo motor? My mechanic cant feel any thing with his hand on the servo motor as I run the switch so it may not be getting power. any help is much appreciated.

Diagnosis by elimination is an expensive method. Is your mechanic trained on Cayenne AWD?

Here is a short video that kinda explains the traction management system.

If you have used 2 motors with no changes i think you are ruling that out. sun coast.com sells the motor with a new computer controller. Other than the switch i would be looking there.

What mudman2 said. Plus, at least for the front end clunking issue Porsche recommends to update the Transfer box controller in an early TSB which affected '03 & '04 Cayenne's. Did you do the transfer gear swap yourself? When it is out, and you have the tranny in neutral, you should be able to manually reach in and swap it from high to low range just to make sure it isn't binding. If it swaps fairly easily manually then you definitely have an electric/electronic issue.
Do you have Durametric to scan for faults? A fault code would help immensely.
