Class Action Settlement for coolant pipes is official

Thanks, freakdog.
My guess is the checks will come from the Settlement Administrator, a company that is being paid to perform these administrative functions.
Hopefully, before too long, we'll see.

I've Got Mine
The check that was in the mail just arrived at my office in Oklahoma City from the settlement administrator in Seattle, dated 2/4 and postmarked 2/8. The amount is $1,158.54, which is what I expected it to be.
I bought the CS new from the local dealer in May 2004. The coolant pipes failed in a big way in July 2013 at 61,703 miles. The dealer charged me $1448.18 for the repair job and according to the schedule provided to claimants I was entitled to 80% of that, which I received.
Incidentally I still have the CS and am struggling, as others are, with the question of when and/or how to replace it. I still like it, its only got 83,000 miles on it now, but I can see a trail of tears in its (and my) future.

When I asked the work shops why, the common response..."because we can get it"
An Indy shop with lower overhead replaced my tubes for $1200 but that included replacing the water pump and a 60K/mi. service inspection. I supplied the kit of parts for the tubes.
He did not understand my delight when I wrote that check.
