Default Ordered a new Cayenne Diesel :-)

Ok, I ordered a few months ago a new Canadian CD. It's due for completion 27th Sept and man am I excited, it's my first Porsche. Hopefully a LOT more reliable than my '12 LR4.

Here's the specs:

2014 CD Silver
Premium Plus
Sport Design with Side Skirts
Panoramic Roof
Deletion of Model Designation
21" 911 Turbo II Wheels with Wheel Arch Extensions
Extended LED comfort lighting
3 Spoke Sports Steering Wheel
BOSE
Tow Package

I could have added A LOT more, but had to restrain myself ;-)

I've had a look around at some delivery dates, the dealer in Vancouver says 6-8 weeks from completion, but wondering if anyone here knows, based upon ship leaving, docking at halifax (?) and transportation, a rough delivery date based upon experience here?

Thank you all - looking forward to being an owner!

Congratulations. I notice a lot of deletion of the Model designation and while I like that look better, somehow I need it to scream Oil Burner. Might change though when I actually place the order. Got to pay off the BMW 4 series my wife just ordered first. Lets see the pics when it arrives.

Congrats. Had a diesel as a loaner when I was getting the clear bra put on and it was really great. Quiet and zippy. You will love it.

I did euro delivery and so my dates were a little different. I had read between 4-6 weeks after drop off and it was 6 weeks and 2 days when I got it. I think they are pretty accurate in their date assignment. The ship mine was on docked in Houston the exact day they said it would (in spite of my obsessing and trying to hurry it along with my mental energy haha).

Well worth the wait. Everyday while walking up to it I get a little grin on my face.

Nice order Rick!

You'll be able to enjoy that build year round in Vancouver

Did you order her at the new Porsche centre on Terminal?

Nice order you will love it. I like the model designation but deleted the PORSCHE big block letters spread out across the back... Looks like this!

Thanks! ... Not, it's not open yet, although I'm going to the opening day on Oct 23.. looks like an awesome new dealer showroom. I'm guessing there's enough business in Vancouver to have a garage like that (probably made enough from my options!)

I did the same -- referenced the you tube video, got my hairdryer out, the dental floss, and some Zymol HD Cleanse. Used lots of floss -- kept breaking.

I had the dealer do it while they were setting ready to deliver it. I asked for the Cayenne badge back but they said they broke it upon removal and would get me another one. Come to think of it, I haven't gotten that yet...

Time to drop them an email.

Thanks @ECS.. :-)

I'm due for a call from the dealer on the 30th, so counting down the days until then, it's like waiting for Santa to deliver a present ;-)

I'd leave the Porsche badge on as well (not disrespect, but the back does look like a Hyundai, but I'm in love with the other 90% of the vehicle!), but I may remove the Cayenne badge, not sure how much is deleted with the "Model Designation" removed, whether the diesel will be left on the sides, or if only P O R S C H E will remain...

You lose the model info, but PORSCHE remains just like zorba's pic. On the CD you also lose the "diesel" script from the fenders too.
