Default Cayenne trunk lid Issue

Hello guys, new to the forum and I have a question, have a 06' CTT and when I close the trunk glass lid my alarm doesn't lock. I have to push down on the actual windshield wiper core then the alarm locks. I have tried tightening the bolt on that lock square lock and even though the glass locks further in it still doesn't work, I always end up driving with the interior lights on cause it shows my trunk is open (very annoying!!!). And sometimes when it does lock the alarm will go off randomly in the middle of the night sensing that my trunk is open.. Any help guys??

much appreciated thank you...

Do you have any mats or anything in the trunk that might be interfering with it? The sensor for the trunk seems very sensitive on the Cayenne..

Yeah, the glass needs a bit of a push it close completely. You can hear the click when it sets.

Never had an alarm problem with it though.

I do not have anything in the way, and yes i know about the click and i do get that when i close it but the sensor is so sensative that it alarms when its like a hair off. Ive tighted the bolt to the point where the glass pretty far in and it still alarms..
