Sun visor goes limp
This is the weirdest one so far on the Cayenne. I didn't see many other results when searching for threads on this, but has anyone encountered their sun visor lose its ability to stay up? Yeah, Viagra ain't the solution.
I heard a spring let go inside the visor as I was pushing it up. All i got was a floppy visor. Rubber band to the rescue. Ugh.
This morning, I took the visor off and removed the mirror in the visor hoping to see what may have broken inside, but didn't see anything obvious.
Short of trolling for a used one on eBay, anybody got a solution?
Thanks in advance

Contrary to this post's heading, mine is still "erect" however.....
I thought I'd use this old thread to display my extreme dislike with the visor operation. The spring-loaded mechanism pops the visor towards the glass at about 1-1/2" from the end of its travel.
Every afternoon, I have the sun glaring at me just above the horizon and need to have the visor at a near perpendicular angle to the roof in order to avoid getting blinded by the sun. When I try to make the visor stay at the angle I need, it pops forward due to the spring-action. This then requires a manual upwards seat adjustment. Aaarghhh!!
Personally, I would have preferred a friction or ratchet type of mechanism that would allow me to "dial-in" the precise angle of my visor towards the windscreen. Just sharing my Friday night blues/frustrations....
