2011 Floor Mat options...
i see the:
oem carpet ones $169
oem rubber ones $129
Lloyds plastic $69
Weathertech FRONTS* $99
anything else out there, or anyone find something that matches better to a tan interior?
the oem rubber are straight black and seem to stand out imo, the weathertech come tan but only make fronts and the lloyd's mats seem a little cheap looking, despite my friend having them in his R8... (they slip around)
anyone find something else out there they are using, or maybe someone with rave reviews about the rubber oem ones that will make me forget they are straight black and dont even seem to have an edge on them to catch water.

I have OEM black on a tan interior. I kind of like it. The tan gets dirty quick, and the black hides the crap a little better.
They do have an edge. Holds about a cup of water before you get spill-over on turns. They also have the cut-outs for the retaining pins.

I'm don't know how much water you need them to hold, but the oem rubber mats do have a a lip around the entire mat which will catch a reasonable amount. I suppose they will stand out more against your beige than they do against my umber carpet (you can see my cargo mat in the picture) but since you have other black trim in the car I don't see it as a big deal personally.

I bought the Porsche OEM Rubber mats and use those over the black carpet ones that came with the car- probably won't switch back. Prefer the quality and look of the rubber vs. the carpet mats.

Not that I am an expert negotiator, but whenever I have purchased a car from the dealer, I have always negotiated in the rubber floor mats (as the deal clincher). That way, I always start out with a choice of mats to use.
