Default 09 Cayanne Oil Change Price!

I know there are some threads on this but I have to tell you that today I went back to my dealer for a warranty on the right front headlight washer system that they just got the part in for and asked them to do an oil chage too. I have 9k miles now....with probably 75% of them highway.

The service guy quotes me $315...for an oil change and tells me the tires need rotated too. Hummm...I have an S with 20" Techno's I tell him...he thinks for a minute looks at me looks out at my CS and says oh yeah...it is still $315 though.

So I whip out my oil change coupon from the dealers service manager for $193 and give it to him. He did not seem too happy but I saved a bunch. My local Porsche indy race shop will do it for $150 but needed to get the filter and I did not have time today to wait. I always give my service biz to Vortex here in Tampa or I just do it myself.

So...what a crock.... $315 for a oil change...GEEESH!

My dealer charges $175.47 for an oil change on my Cayenne S. For a tire rotation and balance (also 20" Sport Technos) they charge $88.43.

No. Just 2 drain plugs but they're very easy to get to. It's a bigger pain to get the engine shield off than anything else and it's not that bad. 9 qts for refill.

Yes, that's fine, just keep the receipts.

For the PIG I just go with whatever works and is on sale.
After reading Macsters posts, I'm not afraid to go w/ some of the thicker oils.
Last change was w/ Mobil 1 High mileage on sale at Kragen.

They can provide the filter. I just take them the oil. $150 is what I pay too for filter and oil. It is less if you provide you own oil.

I always buy the oil, have them add one quart or whatever I am short, buy the filter and gasket myself and always replace the aluminum drain plug, they strip easily.

I pay 34 bucks in labor at the 15 minute place next to my house. So I think I pay in total close to 80-90 dollars.

They refused to work on porsches at first, till I walked them through the process

I said, "hey its really a VW, here's what you do,".
