Good afternoon Cayenne owners,
I know this is supposed to be for discussion of cayenne repairs but, do to the fact of all the coils and believe me I have seen my share, please make sure to verify that your dealer is in fact using the coils with the part number ending in 03. These are the latest Porsche release of cayenne coils.

Rome, you'll appreciate this...

The other day I'm drving along in the the inside lane of a four lane arterial and suddenly a Mini makes a left hand turn from the right hand lane directly in front of me....

Wife says "did you see that?" Me... "Did I see that? I almost freaking hit her..." Wife: "Why didn't you honk at her?" Me: "I tried..."

No horn

Coils (around 41k miles) replaced, not all of them & plugs.

Emission tank valve failure. Tank vent reinstalled. This took care of the "check engine light".

New installment: airbag light is on. To be continued ...

Horn stopped working - '06 S
This was a little different from my '97 993 which horn goes off when I brake hard. I first thought it was a strange safety feature but have since learned otherwise. Horn on Cayenne fixed at dealer. Horn on 993 to be fixed this weekend.

I got a new PCM 2.1 under warranty.

The old one would changes bands and/or stations from time to time and it appeared to be happening more frequently.
