Tire recommendations for stock 987.1s
Greetings all,
long story short after 4years of ownership & 7DE days on a local track (ORP), I'm ready to implement a series of mods to my car. I'm going to start with an upgrade of wheels & tires. I'm currently running 19" sport design w/PS2s. Everyone @ the track, my buddy Steve, & my mechanic Eric are encouraging me to switch to 18s. Steve is a huge fan of the Nitto NT01s (he's running a set on his '02 996 GT2) & he's advocating I follow suit. My question for you... What's the largest & best tire I can fit on my car for summer road & track applications if everything else is still bone stock, & with that in mind, what's the preferred camber setting for such a set up? thanks in advance, ***jason
